The course of Mazatlan's boardwalk, called Malecon, has been rewarded with a series of monuments that exhibit its people's pride and joy as they commemorate people who have given the state of Sinaloa international fame, such as Pedro Infante, Lola Beltrán and José Angel Espinoza Ferrusquilla, among others.

You´ll also find figures that evoke the beauty of Mazatlecan women, the Continuity of Life, or its emblematic Fisherman's Monument which is an icon of the local people. Also present is a huge brewing pot that celebrates the Pacifico Brewery's first centennial, and is one of the strongest industrial companies in Mazatlan.

Next to the Valentino's castle, lies yet another monument which is the most photographed by visitors, a sculpture designed by the prestigious painter Antonio López Sáenz, who in this work immortalizes the family in the millennium.

Thus, we may continue to find more monuments along the way, such as the famous Pulmonía, a typical vehicle used for local transportation that you'll only see in this city. Get your camera ready and your best picture-perfect smile and enjoy this extended collection of monuments that parade along Mazatlan's Malecon.
